coursename = Concert Band description = This ensemble is made up of wind and percussion students who wish to develop their music skills individually and in an ensemble. Instrumentation includes: flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto sax, tenor sax, bari sax, trumpet, French horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, and percussion. Individual practice is expected. Participants will have opportunities to compete as individuals for positions in honor groups such as the Green Country Honor Band and All State Band. In addition, there are opportunities for small ensemble and full band competition or festival performances. Travel is a possibility for this group and therefore, fund raising is a priority in order for the ensemble to afford expenses.
