Before this whole mess started, I was going to be a Stage Manager in our school’s musical production “The Addams Family.” I was given the position as stage manager because my teacher, Ms. Gates, saw me as a responsible student and trusted me to watch over a group of students. I described my capstone as "a series of paintings that speak for different types of people." It was exactly as I ended up with! The video was a complete 180 from what I was going to do, which was a bulletin board, but I think it turned out pretty well. (1) ·

I learned that it is a lot harder to do something than to say you're going to do them. I wanted to compensate for what I felt insecure about, and struggled a lot because of it. I think my takeaway, really, is to pace myself. I would go between periods of excess and then nothing at all, and felt a lo (1) ·
