My initial idea was to document the process of becoming a shift supervisor at Starbucks, but because my store was in need of a supervisor and everyone I worked with was waiting on me to turn 18 so I could promote anyway, I ended up skipping a lot of the process. I have been super excited about presenting everything I have learned working at Starbucks and promoting within the company since we heard about the capstone project at the end of our sophomore year! Things didn't exactly go as planned with everything going on (of course): I still have prints in the darkroom and all of my photo paper. I'm using what I already have, which in my opinion I think is still enough. (1)
As I put this project together (gather photos and look through artifacts) I am realizing more and more that my coworkers are the best part of my job. I became a better artist, and I had fewer screw-ups. I have a lot more experience than I do a year ago, for sure, especially with exposures and printing images. (1)
